If you're the sort who eats Scorpion Tanks for breakfast and laughs at the sight of Annihilator Tripods, then maybe you're good enough to compete for top honors in the Army Gaming Championships, one of the world's largest online gaming tournaments. More than $200,000 in cash and prizes are on the line for the most skillful and dedicated game players out there--including the best players of Command & Conquer 3 for both the PC and Xbox 360, who'll walk away with no small chunk of change once the dust settles and they've won their final match.
As noted on the official Web site for the AGC, "you can choose to sign up for two competitions: The AGC Ladder Qualifier (starts 7/4/07 - unlimited signups) and the AGC Bracket Qualifier (registration starts 7/13/07 - limited to 256 [players]). Both competitions have $1,500 in cash and prizes, and both end 9/16/07. The top eight [players] from each competition will meet at the Elite Forces Finals, where they can play for a prize purse of $5,000 in cash."
